Lisa Matthews received her doctorate of psychology in 2012 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in several different settings in Illinois, Texas, and Iowa conducting psychotherapy and psychological testing. She has an interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and helping them find connection and healing. She has a collaborative treatment approach that includes the mind and body. Lisa uses evidence based treatment modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
